As humans, we are all subject to trauma in one way or another. But what happens when that trauma becomes too much to bear? Hello, I’m Victoria Sanchez, known as #1momsmemorialride because as I journeyed to find a place of peace, from the grief I suffered after my son Cody’s shooting death, I started riding my ATV as a memorial ride I dedicated to him. I found that riding my ATV gave me space to breathe, think, feel, and be at one with my son. Having mastered meditation and prayer while riding approximately ten thousand miles around my hometown sacred Tome Hill in New Mexico., I learned to let go of the pain, and push past the limiting beliefs grief was holding over me. This ride gave me a chance to hear my own voice and connect with my heart which had been shattered. Riding gave me a place to find inner peace…forgiveness, gratitude, and grace. Pages 13-14
